Cheap family vacations
Have you decided to take a vacation? Are you wondering where? Would you like some ideas? The holidays are just around the corner, and it's time to pack up your bags and head to your holiday destination with your family. Here are some destinations that will help you decide the exact type of vacation you want your family to have this year.
Camping and Hiking
A camping and hiking destination is ideal for all those who want to get up close and personal to nature. If you decide to hike in an isolated area make sure you take adequate precautions and take all the items needed, especially first aid kits. A camping experience is perfect for an energetic and fun loving family.
Visit your family
If your aunt lives in an exotic place such as Hong Kong, India or Australia spend the vacation there. Although you will be paying for the ticket, your accommodation and food expenses are taken care of. This can be an ideal vacation for the family to take in a new country and special locations.
Winter vacation
Renting a ski lodge or a winter inn can be a great and cheap way to make this a dream vacation. You can play winter sports such as skating, snow boarding, skiing, ice hockey, and sledging. If you do not know how to ski, this is the best opportunity to learn. There are many cheap resorts that have packages as well, such as free skiing lessons, free lunch and lots more. Go for those that let you have the maximum benefit and are cost effective at the same time.
Adventure
Does you family like the adrenal rush a lot? Then you can opt for a vacation in a theme park or include lots of activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, snorkeling and lots more. Check out water activities if your family loves to wade in the water all day long. Theme parks are comparatively cheap and you can have loads of fun as well. Many theme parks are huge such as Disneyland, and you will need at least a week to cover the entire premises of the park.
Cruise tips
If you are looking for some peace and relaxation, a cruise trip will give you exactly that. Make sure you book your tickets well before hand to get the best deals, and look for packages here as well. They can be very cheap especially if you are vacationing in the off-peak season.
Beach
The beach is a great idea for a vacation as well; it suits the needs of everyone. Children and teens can have fun with games and surfing the sea, while parents can work on a tan and relax. If you can rent a villa or a holiday house next to the beach, it will be ideal for your vacation.
Near your home
Check out the local specialties, if you have a natural preserve near your house or a forest where you can camp, make full use of the opportunity. On most occasions, while looking for places to visit during vacations, we forget the local spots that are just as good and inexpensive to boot. This will be a cheap vacation, at the same time you get to explore all the local places that you have not had a chance to. If you pick a place that can be driven to within a few hours, you will be saving considerable money and time.
Children
If you have children, consider their needs and wants as well. A luxury cruise may not be the best bet for children, as they may require some other entertainment as well. So if it is a family vacation try to opt for a place where you will have entertainment for all the family members.
You need not pay exorbitant prices for such a vacation. You and your family will have just as much fun in a well-planned cheap vacation, just as much as in an expensive vacation in an exotic destination. Hope these tips help you to get the perfect vacation without breaking the bank.

Getting Yourself Ready For World Travel
You are about to embark on that long-awaited trip around the world but if you're getting anxious about what to expect, whether you're headed to Europe, Asia or anywhere in the world, here are a few things to anticipate:
Culture
It is best to be polite with all sorts of people, especially when you don't know their customs. I remember a time when a woman friend of mine shook an Arab's hand. It was meant to be a gesture of courtesy but the Arab was appalled because in the Muslim culture, a woman must not shake a man's hand. So always remember to know a little bit about the culture of the country you are traveling to, especially in terms of greeting practices since you will be meeting lots of people once you're there.
Food.
Remember that people don't always serve you the same food that you're used to. If you're not familiar with the menu, try asking the waiting person what kind of meat or sauce is on something that you are planning to order. It is okay to ask because you might be ordering a dish you might not like and end up sick with. The more you need to be careful if you have allergies to certain foods such as crabs or peanuts. Whatever looks delicious is not necessarily good for you.
Language
Of course, if you are traveling to a different continent, you need to expect that they have different languages and not all of them can speak perfect English. It is better to bring a dictionary with you all the time so you may be able to ask for directions or maybe ask some locals to take a photo of you and whomever you are with. It's also better to know how to say "thank you", "excuse me" and other commonly used words and phrases in their language.
Sometimes when you travel to different places around the world, you may experience what is termed as culture shock. Don't be in a hurry to experience everything when you travel. At times, you may have our own perception of how a certain country is and it may not always be true once you actually get there. What you really need to do is to be prepared to know what it is that you want to experience in Europe, whether it's the visual arts in museums or the high-profile fashion circuit.
After knowing what you want to encounter in Europe, research on where exactly you want to go and make sure you're ready. Always be friendly but don't overdo it as some people can take this negatively. When you do encounter rudeness from certain foreigners, just shrug it off and don't get into fights. You'd probably forget about them when you get home, so it should be no big deal.
Most of all, just have fun!

Travel Tips : "What Clothes Should You Bring ?"
Essential to having a good trip is looking good and feeling comfortable with what you wear. So here are some things you should think about when packing for your long awaited trips.
1. Your clothes should revolve around one or two basic colors. This will immensely make the choice of what accessories to bring easier. This will also make the decision making process of what shirt, slippers, shorts, or bag to bring.
2. Bring more underwear than you anticipate and less shirts than you expect to wear. Buying underwear on the trip is not a bad idea but it is never advisable to wear them without washing them first. This means you will not be able to use the underwear right away anyway so bring the ones you already have.
3. Plan on doing the laundry. Bring clothes you will wear for a week, just wash them if necessary. If you are going on a long holiday, it is not advisable to bring so many as this will only make packing hard. Laundry will simply have to be done.
4. Choose a cloth that does not crumple easily or sensitive. It's has got to be something that you cannot worry about too much. Holidays are there to relax you not give you additional load.
5. Prefer shorts over jeans and skits. If the weather of the country you are going to will permits it, that is. Besides going around in skirts will only be a hindrance to your adventure. Go all out, wear shorts.
6. Take clothes that you don't mind discarding. You will most likely buy new ones so it will not hurt to make it easy on to just throw away the ones you brought.
7. Know the weather of your destination, that way you'll know if you need a jacket or not.
8. Bring clothes with pockets, it comes in handy.
I hope those help.

Bengawan SOLO " Solo River "
Bengawan Solo is a famous Indonesian song about the Solo River, which flows through central and eastern Java, Indonesia and is that island's longest river.
The song describes the legendary river in a poetic and nostalgic way, that it is surrounded by mountains, its sources are near the city of Surakarta, that it ends in the sea, and that the merchants make use of it.
Written in 1940 by Gesang Martohartono, it is in the local kroncong style, a popular folk style with influences from Portuguese. The Japanese, who occupied the country during World War II, brought the song with them to Japan after returning from the war. There, and also in the rest of Asia and later worldwide, the song became very famous.
The song's widespread popularity began soon after its composition, and locally it is strongly associated with the period of war occupation and the society of the times. In 1940 Gesang, then a young, destitute and untrained musician, composed the song on a bamboo flute and began to sing it at local functions and gatherings in his hometown of Surakarta. It soon became well-known and liked among the local Javanese community; the song then achieved national acclaim after it was broadcast to a wider audience by various radio stations.
The melodies of the song also appealed to both the occupying Japanese soldiers, and the non-Indonesian prisoners (mainly Dutch civilians) in the internment camps. The song was taken back to Japan by the returning soldiers, where it (with the lyrics translated to Japanese) gained great popularity after various singers such as Toshi Matsuda released recorded versions of it which became best-sellers. The song has become almost synonymous with the perception of Indonesian music in Japan.
In 1991, a group of appreciative Japanese war veterans arranged for a statue of Martohartono to be erected in a park in Surakarta. Gesang himself was still resident in the city, now a nationally renowned figure.
Various artistes have recorded the song, among whom are Waldjinah, Toshi Matsuda, Anneke Grönloh, Rebecca Pan and Frances Yip.
"Bengawan Solo" is a popular name given to restaurants and businesses, in reminiscence of the song.
Lyric Bengawan Solo , English translation :
Solo River
Thus your chronicles
Have been since earliest times
Of sentient attention
In the dry season Your water is not much
In the rainy season, water
Spills reaching far distances
Chorus:
Your water springs forth from Solo
Surrounded by a thousand mountains
Water flows to reach far distances
Eventually to the sea
That boat
In your past chronicles
The merchant folks had always
Sailed in such boats.
Written in 1940 by Gesang Martohartono.

Happiness Comes From Experiences - Time For a Vacation
It's no secret that companies want us to believe that their products will improve our quality of life. From shampoos that will make us more attractive to the latest big-screen TV to blow our minds, advertisements and shop windows are shouting about how we can be more happy if we own their stuff.
The interesting thing is that recent research has shown material possessions are not likely to make us happy at all; the key to a fulfilling life lies elsewhere.
A paper published in the January, 2010 issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology by Travis Carter and Tom Gilovich looks at differences in the way people treat choices involving material goods (toys, electronics and jewelery) and choices involving experiences (climbing the steps of the temples at Tikal, boating across Lake Atitlan). Carter and Gilovich drew some interesting conclusions, including that people become less satisfied with consumer purchases over time, whereas those who had bought into experiences grew more satisfied over time.
A big factor behind this conclusion was that material purchases are easily subject to comparison. In the words of Gilovic, interviewed on BBC Brazil:
"Imagine you buy a flat screen TV, and you're happy with it. But then you come to my house and I have a TV with a larger and better picture. That will disappoint and annoy you."
However, if you go on a Guatemala vacation or a Brazil holiday package and someone else also does the same thing, you will have your own specific memories of the trip, different to the other person - your personal connection with Guatemala and Brazil which no one else has, and that makes the holiday special.
Experiences are individual, and thus non comparable. The study suggests that comparison between material purchases is the factor which breeds unhappiness and resentment, a factor that experiences are free from.
Another key point made by the study is the extent to which your purchase is a part of you. According to Gilovic:
"If you go on a hiking trip to Machu Picchu in Peru or in Patagonia, and the weather is terrible, you might not view it as a pleasurable experience in the here and now. Instead, you may view it as a challenge, and over time remember the positive aspects of the vacation experience more than the negative aspects," says Gilovich, "With material things you can't do this, because they are what they are."
Such memories form part of our character. In comparison, material possessions are exactly that; possessed by us. We feel no true connection with them, and they can be broken or replaced, often with a newer model, not to mention the diminishing appreciation that we feel for material things over time.
So, next time you've got a bit of spare cash that you are wondering how to use or you can't decide on a gift for someone else, consider investing it in experiences. According to the study, you're much likely to be happier, for longer.

Relax and Enjoy Your Vacation by Terry Daniels
in Travel (submitted 2010-05-05)
If you are looking to take a vacation any time in the near future you have to remember how to relax. This may sound odd, but there are a lot of people that do not understand how to truly relax while they are on vacation.
The key to relaxing is preparation. The more that you are able to prepare the more you will be able to relax
You should start by preparing where exactly you are going to go. Although spontaneity can be fun and exciting, if you want to truly relax you should decide where you go on vacation far beforehand.
When you are able to take the time to plan where you are going to go on vacation. You should know what kind of climate or what kind of activities you want to participate in before you start to look for the location of your vacation.
If you want to stay with something familiar you can easily vacation in the same form that you have done in the past. There is a lot of benefit that can be taken from finding a new vacation spot.
When you are looking for a vacation spot you should make sure that you know what kind of lodging you want to stay in. The more that you know about your vacationing needs the better off you will be when you are looking for a place to stay.
The most common form of lodging is to find a hotel that works well for you. This means that you can find a room that has the right amount of beds for you and for your family.
Make sure that you do not assume that a hotel room has all of the amenities that you need. Getting a list of all of the amenities that you are going to have in your room is necessary before you make a reservation that is absolute.
If you feel that your family will need a refrigerator or even a microwave you should make sure that you find the hotel that will provide what you need. Do not settle for a hotel room that will not give you what you need.
The next most common way of vacationing way is to find a time-share. When you are looking for a time-share you will be able to find some buildings that will make you feel like you have never left home.
This at home feel is what a lot o people that are looking or. For others, it is important that you should find the time-share that helps you feel like you are on vacation.
After you have figured out how you are going to lodge when you are on vacation you have to figure out the budget for the whole vacation. Some people like to plan exactly how much money they are going to spend just so that there are no surprises.
An easy way to prevent any unplanned expenses is to plan your day-to-day activities. These activities should at least have a budget.
If you are going to plan a strict budget you can take out the cash that you are planning on spending and only bring that cash. Most people will also bring one credit card in case of any emergency.
Bringing only the cash that you want to spend will limit the amount of money that you unknowingly spend. You can even put the money that you will be spending each day into a different envelope.
After you have figured out your budget you will want to make sure that you figure out your transportation. The transportation to and from a vacation spot can make or break the way that you start and end your vacation.
You do not want to start your vacation crabby or hungry or tired. You should know how you are going to get to your destination and know that you can do so smoothly.
And finally you have to make sure that you take the time to pack the proper equipment for your vacation. Many of the vacation spots that you are going to visit will have very expensive prices on everyday items.
The more that you can pack on your own the more you will be able to spend on items that really matter. This means that you should also plan or the weather.
The more that you know about your vacation the more prepared you will be. When you are prepared for the vacation you will be able to sit back and enjoy the benefits of some early planning.

Are You Planning to Travel This Summer? 6 Points to Consider
Are You Planning to Travel This Summer? 6 Points to Consider by Simon Johnnson
in Travel (submitted 2010-05-11)
Recession and Travel
In the last couple of years the world has witnessed widespread recession that has left an adverse impact on a lot of people across the globe. The most immediate effect is that many people who have been hit financially are pressured to save money and spend less to tide over this difficult period. As a result people choose to spend their vacations at home and do not venture out even during the summer months. This forced strategy for the sake of thrift has earned itself the sobriquet "staycation", which means staying home for vacations.
Staycations
Things being as they are if one is forced to take a staycation, things need not look bleak at all. A staycation does not have to be uneventful and boring. There are lots of activities that you can do to have a good time and spend a great vacation at home or close to it. This article is a good read for those who would like to plan a virtual vacation full of excitement and fun no matter where you live!
Things to Do on a Staycation
*If you own a boat or may be able to borrow one for a short vacation, then plan a fun-filled trip with your family to the nearest lake.
*This is cheaper than going on a cruise with your family and will only cost you a little money for buying gas. The kids will enjoy this much more than going off to far off and exotic destinations. This will also give you the opportunity to bond with your family more intimately as you will be the only ones in the boat unlike an expensive cruise which would have to be shared with other guests.
*Camping out is another good idea. This has been one of the classical recreational activities for many, many years but sometimes we can lose sight of it while planning for grand vacations. The fact of the matter is that the nation can boast of some of the best national parks and outdoor recreational areas in the whole world. Taking your family out to these spots will ensure that you all have an enjoyable and memorable time that will leave a lasting impression on all your family members.
*City dwellers need not despair; cities have lots to offer too. There are lots of local parks, museums, zoos and a host of other family- friendly sites and recreational venues where you can take your family for entertainment. You could take your children to one of the city parks where you can enjoy a variety of recreational activities. You can have a picnic, go boating on a rented boat, bike along with your children or just have fun and around and play games in the park.
*A visit to the local zoo may be both entertaining and educational. Young children are usually delighted to go to the zoo. Allow the kids to explore the area and participate in the animal-feeding activity under your supervision if permitted. Most zoos have special animal shows and other exciting events for the entertainment of children on holidays. So that will be something that you and your family can look forward to.
*You can also spend your summer cultivating your artistic and creative side by visiting public museums. There are thematic museums that exhibit art collections depicting history, science and arts. Taking your children to these places will help them recognize their own talents and interest in arts and history. Many museums offer lots of programs and interactive quizzes that your children may participate in if they feel so inclined. Such visits will not only be recreational but also informative and thought provoking.
It's All About Family
It may be useful to remember that vacations are more for family bonding and spending quality time with each other. Summer vacations need not necessarily be spent on traveling to expensive resorts and be located near the beach. The city has lots of interesting opportunities to offer and you can spend a most enjoyable vacation being engaged in the various activities as suggested above. The important thing is to do a bit of research and finding out which places are worth visiting and which activities are worth trying out together with your family.

How To Be Safe While Touring Single
How To Be Safe While Touring Single by Jarvis Patel
in Travel (submitted 2010-05-13)
If you want to meet new people, find a mate, increase your awareness, experience personal growth, lower your blood pressure or just relax. TRAVEL!
You can try an all-inclusive resort that will give you the safety of communal living, yet flexible enough to provide you with a detail experience of your chosen destination. You can increase your experience encounters by signing up for tours offered by your resort. These mega resorts offer tours for shopping, sightseeing, night life, educational and adventure.
If you would rather travel to 2, 3 or more cities then a cruise may be your best choice. There are single cruises that are high end, (meaning they won't make you feel like you are on the prowl)!
Safety is a serious issue and should not be taken lightly. Listed below are 15 tips to increase your safety factor:
1. When you check into your hotel, give your Bellman a $5.00 to $10.00 tip. Tell him your name and ask him a question about your stay at the resort, Keep this conversation, brief and professional
2. Use the Hotel safe for money, your travel documents and jewelry. If you use your room safe, be sure you know how to operate the safe properly.
3. Always try to originate your cab ride from your hotel. When away from your hotel try to avoid asking strangers for directions. If you get lost or need help, go to the nearest Hotel (the larger the better) and ask for help at the Front desk!
4. Select your 'return trip cab' with caution and always be aware of your surroundings
5. Invest in a body purse or use a money belt.
6. Do not flash cash, foreign or domestic. If you are not sure of the money exchange, it is OK to leave a little extra money on the table.
7. When meeting people during your travel, do not give out your hotel room number. Meet people in the lobby or have the Hotel operator connect them to your room.
8. If you decide to go out with a suitor that you meet while traveling, have him/her pick you up at your Hotel. Find your Bellman, and casually mention that you are going out with one of the locals and ask a question about where to go? (The Hotel does not want anything to happen to you, because then who would pay the bill?)
9. ALWAYS remember to BE SAFE in personal or sexual encounters. Don't get caught up in the moment! At least not in a foreign country.
11. Remember, if you are an American, you could be a target! OR, they may want to marry you so they can move to the US. (Note: In Egypt men are legally allowed to have three wives)
12. Wait until the last day before your departure before giving out your home address or telephone number. (You would not want this information forwarded to a professional thief while you are away on vacation)
13. Try not to break anyone's heart.
14. If you get into trouble, contact the nearest US Embassy.
15. Leave a detailed itinerary with a friend or relative at home. Check in with this family member or friend often during your vacation

Easy Packing Tips For Your Holiday Trip
Easy Packing Tips For Your Holiday Trip by Dominic Schultz

travel, holiday travel tips, travel packing tips
Traveling during the holidays can be a lot of work. So many people travel during this time of year that it can actually be downright exhausting not to mention stressful. Here are some easy and quick packing tips to simplify your holiday travels.
Bags Focus on getting all your things into one soft side small bag. Yes, one that fits under an airline seat in front of you and is roughly 9" + 14" + 22" = 45" total. Yes, it can work and will do for any travel better than you think. Picture this: you've been standing for hours in the line for you plane and it arrives 90 minutes late which means you'll have to dash from one end of O'Hare to the other to catch you connecting flight home and be back at work Monday morning. You won't make it if you checked you luggage and it will be slow if you have to lug more than one bag on your run. Get the picture?
Travel light and pack a single bag you can carry.
When you pack you bag roll your clothes and pack them firmly together with other articles cushioned in between them. This gives everything a good chance of arriving at you destination in pretty good shape even if you are not. Do this with fancy clothes, too. They'll look just fine when unpacked and hung up.
What To Pack Take basic outfits. Spread these out on your bed. Before you pack. Make sure pieces can be inter changeable to make several outfit combinations.
Coordinate shoes, stockings, undergarments, jewelry (minimal) and other accessories so that they go with all outfits. The idea here is to keep these things to a minimum.
Pack efficiently. Put socks inside of shoes. Put shoes inside of plastic bags. Put jewelry and any medications in a little pouch or ziplock bag that will slip between rolls of clothes. Put shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries in a ziploc bag, too. Take a large plastic bag for dirty laundry.
Before you leave decide that you will take your dirty laundery home. This is fine for a short 3-5 day holiday trip. In emergencies you can do it where you are staying but for the most part forget about it and take it home to do the week you return.
Returning Home A great trick to complete a trip is return to a clean, organized home. Especially after the jostling of a holiday trip its best to put your feet up and relax. It is wonderful to return to washed laundry, a clean kitchen with counters cleared, trashcans and newspapers taken care of by neighbors or friends.
Traveling over the holdiays can actually be a fun adventure if you take time to plan ahead, so you can enjoy the actual journey. There are many nice people to meet along the way, new things to see, quiet time to read and relax. Find things you can do while traveling that you haven't had the time to do while at home.
For example, take a book you've been meaning to read or pack CDs you haven't been able to listen to yet. Fill the time with all sorts of activities you usually put off and make the most of your holiday travel experience.

3 star hotel for your stay
3 Star Hotels For Your Stay by Isidro Dyer
in Travel (submitted 2010-05-13)
Finding a hotel that suits your budget comes easy when you take into consideration the activities that you will be busy with, or what you want to achieve during your stay. If being extremely pampered and totally worry-free comes last on your list, then you're welcome to try a 3-star hotel. This is not to say that 3-star hotels do not offer any degree of comfort or luxury; it just seems impractical to be paying for lavish amenities when you won't have the chance to take advantage of them.
If you're a business traveler, who intends to be primarily engaged in, well, business matters, and not that concerned with having a fun and relaxing time, then a 3-star hotel with provisions and facilities that are useful for conferences and business correspondence would be a good recommendation. Furthermore, the affordable price is more attractive if you intend to keep the business expenses low. Also, an in-house restaurant, bar or lounge eliminates the need to go elsewhere for lunch or dinner meetings, and thus saves you time that you can spend preparing for presentations instead.
Meanwhile, on the other end of the tourist spectrum, a weekend traveler who has a planned itinerary can find good value in a 3-star hotel that is within minutes of a popular tourist destination, such as Paris or Amsterdam. Just because you're visiting a top tourist spot doesn't mean you have to spend a lot on accommodations. For instance, three star hotels like the Hotel Windsor Opera in Paris (only over a kilometer away from the city center) even offers services such as a business center facility, room service, and a fitness center, with rates that are at least about fifty percent lower than the best hotels located in the heart of the city.
While 3-star hotels may be expected to offer more than basic accommodations, it may be best to assess them and make a choice according to your expectations and needs. For instance, you may deem access to a fitness center more important than room service, or prefer Internet access and a business center to availability of a swimming pool. Whatever you prefer, be reassured that you can consult with an online guide and make sure to ask the right questions that will ultimately lead to a pleasant 3-star hotel experience.
Here are other 3-star hotels that may be of interest: the Hotel Sylter Hof in Berlin, which prides itself as a good location for business functions, and is immediately accessible to the city's major airports; the Hotel Diplomatic in Rome, which is within close range of the Spanish Steps and the Vatican, and boasts of a fitness center, a swimming pool, and impeccable service; the Kensington Close Hotel and Healthy Spa in London, which offers an indoor swimming pool, beauty treatments, a health and fitness club, and three restaurants; and the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is a family oriented hotel that offers live circus act performances and boasts of the Grand Slam Canyon theme park.

Are you ready for tour ?
Are you ready for tour? by Fermin Alvarado
in Travel (submitted 2010-05-13)
When you are planning your trip there are some things you can fail to remember. Usually they are very useful things and their absence can cause some inconveniences. Depending on the length of your trip and the place you are going to the list of the necessary items will differ.
In any case, if you are going abroad you must have all the necessary documents.
1) your foreign passport with visa (if necessary) 2) your tickets (plane, train, bus - just any) 3) your hotel voucher (if you stay in a hotel) 4) your insurance (if you have one)
If you are traveling with a travel agency, you'd better have their telephone numbers and other contacts both in your country and in a country of your destination.
So, when you plan to spend away from home only a couple of days you should only take your documents and a sufficient sum of money. There are hardly such things you can't live without for several days. Of course, if you do prefer not waste your money, you should not forget your toothbrush ad other item of the personal hygiene. However if you stay in a prestigious hotel these things won't be a problem.
Some people live their city with a strong desire to forget about all that they have left in their motherland, but if you still want to be in touch with your relatives and friends you'd better to take your mobile. Of course, you can call from the reception in the hotel, but mobile is much more convenient and cheaper.
In any foreign country if you don't speak its language, the phrase-book can become almost indispensable thing.
No matter for how long your trip will last - you will be safer if you take your medicines with you. If you route lays far from the big cities you simply couldn't manage to find what you need. Even if you are going to New York or Paris, are you sure you would like to waste your time and money looking for your salvation? It's good if the foreign pharmacists know the name of your medicine - and if they don't?
Continuing about healthcare - it's highly recommended to make all the vaccinations you can need in the country you are going to. It's especially urgent if you go to the tropical countries of in the country where the epidemic can spoil your plans. The list of the vaccinations you may need can be easily found in your travel agency, in the embassy of this country and even in Internet. Don't forget also to take the clothes for you rest. Swimsuit, T-shirts and shorts on resort and a couple of the warm sweaters and blazers in mountains. Anyway, don't forget your running shoes - barely you will like to make long walks on high heels or in uncomfortable shoes.
If you expect long trip in bus or train, or long flight - take some books, magazines or something else to entertain yourself. Some people always take their talismans in their journeys. So, if you feel uncomfortable without your old toy - don't forget to take it too, especially if you plan a long stay abroad. Anyway, when you have cash or credit card you won't be in trouble - now you can buy almost everything, almost everywhere.
